Pipe is sliding into the Uber Eats Manager app to give restaurants a smoother shot at capital no FICO score, no credit checks, no hoops. Through the new partnership, eligible eateries will see pre-approved offers based on their actual revenue and cash flow, with funds hitting accounts in as little as 24 hours. For restaurant owners who usually face brick walls at big banks, this is more like a drive-thru lane for financing. Uber says it’s about helping its restaurant partners grow, while Pipe calls it a way to put capital where it’s needed most whether that’s opening a second location or simply keeping the lights on when business dips.
FTC Probes AI Chatbot Practices

The Federal Trade Commission is turning up the heat on AI firms, demanding details from seven companies, including Alphabet, Meta, OpenAI, Snap, xAI, Character.AI, and Instagram, about how their consumer-facing chatbots are tested, monitored, and monetized. Regulators want to know how these platforms handle user inputs, generate responses, and leverage conversational data for profit.
