Netflix Reshapes Debt to Power Massive Warner Bros Deal

Netflix just reshuffled a chunk of its massive 59 billion dollar bridge loan, securing a new 5 billion dollar credit line and two 10 billion dollar term loans as it moves closer to acquiring Warner Bros Discovery. The streamer beat out a 108.4 billion dollar all-cash bid from Paramount Skydance, convincing Warner Bros that Netflix offered stronger long-term value and more reliable funding. The deal includes HBO and Max and is expected to close after Warner Bros spins off its Global Networks unit in late 2026. In short, Netflix is stacking serious financing, preparing for one of the biggest media takeovers in history and betting that the merger will reshape the future of streaming.
Nvidia Prepares to Ship H200 AI Chips to China Amid Policy Shakeup

Nvidia is gearing up to send thousands of its H200 AI chips to China before mid-February, drawing from existing stock while planning new production capacity for 2026. The move hinges on Beijing’s approval and follows a major U.S. policy reversal that now allows these chip sales with a 25 percent fee. If greenlit, Chinese tech giants like Alibaba and ByteDance could gain access to processors far stronger than Nvidia’s downgraded H20 chips, even as China pushes to build its own competitive AI hardware. The shipment plan underscores both the high demand for advanced AI power and the political tightrope Nvidia must walk to supply it.
